sims_souffleSo played for quite while this time around... i kind of lost track of time and plus I was like "omg omg i need to get Basir and Moran to teen before they die!!!" so yeah went to bed late. :/
so i first login and all la la la 'oh Plum is off to work *long dramatic pause* OMG WTF IS WRONG WITH HER FACE?!?!". Yeeeah, somehow Plum ended up with the blue face glitch, but luckily was smart enough without having to searchy to figure out the solution to that. So was all fixed.
Further evidence of Plum's Partner in Neatness (aka I love cleaning but no I'm not picking up those dirty bottles no matter the stink coming off of them).
So I was watching Basir crawl around or something and then all a sudden I hear lullaby music... Hmm... what does this mean....
Figured I better show Gabe off, even though being a maxis neighbour you'd be able to anyway... I have to say I much prefer his looks as an elder.
I saw this and was like 'Oh look wolfie barking at the house *pause* OMG LOOKIT HER NAME!!' and knew then that I just had to show you.
Yay toddler!Basir. Who was an adorable little thing really. Although those puffy cheeks should've been a warning...
Wanted to show that yay no more wonky skintone pregnancy problems ta-da!... of course when i took the shot i'm like 'aaaargh who's done it this time!' when I saw the bin.
This was a pure luck shot since I was watching something Basir was doing... and happened to turn the camera just so and notice a profile view of derp face.
om nom nom - tasty xylophone stick?
Basir was all wah wah a lot... and usually when his parents had finally got to sleep. so since his motives weren't horrid yet I let him keep on wah-wahing.
And imagine my surprise thaqt toddlers will waddled over to a stereo and sit there 'dancing'. :O

Plum is such a good mummy reading Basir to sleep.

Moran becomes a toddler whee. He didn't have any baby pics, because he looked (as a baby) waaaay too similar to Basir, so it seemed kinda boring.
And then it snowed on a school day... so Basir was really very happy.
Can't remember what it was, but I'd decided Basir needed to nap (possibly so didn't have to worry about what he was up to whilst i controlled Gabe or Plum for a sec).
Moran is a child! And I think it must've been something about the mouth or something that caused him and his brother to have weird cheeks - since they're all fine as teens. (Oh! Moran is hebrew for Teacher so keeping in theme with the Cluedo/colour theme)
Because Plum was a bit motive deficient I decided she deserved a sick day... imagine my surprise/o.O face when I saw the picture of the sim she called at work.
See Gabe is a much better looking elder. Although I kept thinking he looked rather like a current Ted Danson. o.O
HoorahZ! Plum grew up very nicely... which is strange since she didn't have platinum at the time... or even gold i think o.O (also i was tad confused as to why her hair changed... but you'll see later on...)

So at some point a stupid burgular came.... and i didn't have an alarm and everyone was very upset (and they still get upset)... as consequence both Basir and Moran had a want to see the ghost of said burgular o.O
Can't remember which... but one of them had a want for Private School and er this was the headmaster. Obviously a rather liberal private school.
Guess who decided to make me distracted and grow up during the headmaster's visit?
One plate! One plate of Pork Chops and he gets all chubby. :O
This townie walked past the house once, but it wasn't until I sent Plum shopping for new elder clothes (i'm now considering looking for new elder clothes, cause the maxis ones are eugh)... and just wow... for a second i thought she was a vampire, until i noticed she had the pale freckle skintone.
Poor Moran I was trying to do my usual 'toiler, shower, bed' routine but he was really tired.
And then... I finally fixed Plum's hair... cosnidering the style is there I still don't get why it didn't just go straight to the grey version. *shrugs*
Errr I really wanted her to get platinum? ...so yeah I cheated and used the batbox to change her aspiration around until got education minister. But it's the last cheat time. And now (for when the kids age to teen) using random.org's dice roll to decide aspiration.
So somehow I managed to keep Moran at platinum by the time he aged up. Woo!

Oh yeah, the toddler dance is the most adorable thing ever! I should warn you there's a glitch related to it, though - if the toddler has really low outgoing points, they'll try to do the shy sim dance, and the game will make them float while they dance. Recently, this happened to baby!Azure (only 1 outgoing point), though I didn't take a screenshot of it.
Did you use the batbox to randomize the sim generator? I'm guessing you did since Basir and Moran have different stats, so it's weird they look so alike. (And those chubby cheeks seem to come from Gabe.) They're adorable, though!
Hehe yes, older!Gabe does look like Ted Danson on CSI. The hair and glasses helped with the similarities.
Did you manage to get the boys to private school?
Oh dear. I had to remove that extra-pale skintone from my folders before generating my current hoods, because it felt too weird to see such whiteness around.
Looking forward to seeing more!

Oh yeah I can imagine. I still haven't found anyone using the candy colour skintones tho yet.
Played for a bit more, but nothing interesting yet... except that thanks to the ACR Plum and Gabe still really like each other. :/

I was plagued by clones in my legacies until I started using the batbox, even when I tried the alternative way of stopping this from happening (which involved going to CAS, creating a couple and then pressing the pacifier several times when generating a kid for them). If you ever wish to try it, you must first save the game (this is important, because the batbox will make you leave the lot without saving), and then go to the batbox and click "fix > rerandomize sim generator". After that, you'll need to agree to any pop up that, well, pops up (*g*) and everything's fixed.
Yay! Pork chops seem to fix everything. I decided to go for lobster thermidor for the Mahjongs, but that's because I clean forgot which cheaper option was the best.

So hey I forget, with College, when they return to the main hood are they adults or young adults? cause i honestly can't remember right now.
